In the redesign of the bar area within the Gewölbe night club, the primary goal was to transform the space into a versatile setting. This room was intended not only as an inviting entrance and a space to hang out but also as a host for intimate events on a smaller scale. To achieve this, the bar was strategically repositioned against the wall adjoining the club area, so guests are guided to order their first drinks while having a chat right away – and creating and sheltered passageway leading to the DJ booth of the clubs main floor.

The design of the space pays homage to the club’s architectural aesthetics, embracing its raw and industrial charm with a deliberate focus on showcasing walls and oxidized steel as the visual focal points. This approach not only allows the gastronomic equipment to blend seamlessly into the surroundings but also creates a striking visual impact. Additionally, a partition featuring angled louvers separates the seating area from the entrance, ensuring both privacy and an element of surprise as one enters the space.
